PURPOSE:To make a rising state maintainable so easily, by forming a movable pillar acting link mechanism into two links, while constituting these two links so as to become a rectilinear form at the time of rising of a movable pillar, in case of a fully-openable top type roof device bearing the above caption. CONSTITUTION:An interval between an output shaft 101 of a gearbox 100 and a lower end 13b of a movable pillar 13 is connected through both first and second links 71 and 72. And, in the state that the movable pillar stands erect, a turning center point (the center of the output shaft 101 of the gear box 100) of the second link 72 and a center point of a connecting axis 13 between the first link 71 and the movable pillar 13 are constituted so as to be situated on an almost straight line. With this constitution, in a rising state of the movable pillar 13, the link 72 comes into such a state as becoming a dead point with the link 71 whereby these links 71 and 72 come to serve as a prop against external force, thus a rising state is stabilizable.
