An insulating tube 1 consists of an inner tube 2, of an outer tube or casing tube 3 concentrically surrounding the previous tube at a certain distance from it, and of an insulating material 5 filling the empty space lying between the tubes. The inner tube 2 and the outer tube or casing tube 3 are connected at their two ends by collars 6, 6', 7 fixed on them and engaging in one another with the interposition of sealing and insulation rings 8. The characteristic feature consists in that the collars 6, 7, 7' engage in one another by matching of shapes, at the region of annular surfaces 15, 16 which are at least partially angularly offset with respect to the longitudinal axis 4-4 of the tube and between which the sealing and insulation ring 8 is interposed, and in that the annular surfaces 15 of the collars 6, 6' fixed to the ends of the inner tube 2 are turned towards one another whilst the annular surfaces 16 of the collars 7 fixed to the ends of the outer or casing tube 3 are turned away from one another. <IMAGE>
