PURPOSE:To effectively enlarge a space for engine room and a passenger's compartment, by curving the upper edge section of a dashboard panel along with the curved shape of a front window glass pane. CONSTITUTION:A dashboard panel 1 is composed of an upper panel 8 and a lower panel 9. The vehicle widthwise center section of the upper panel 8 is inclined forward, and the left and right sides thereof are inclined rearward. With this arrangement, the shape of the upper end edge section 8b of the upper panel8 coincides with the curved shaped of the lower end edge section of a front window glass pane 10 as viewed from above, having an arcuate shape convex forward.
