PURPOSE:To improve the efficiencies of ventilation and cooling of a space below the roof of a building as well as the heat pump type hot-water supplier by a method wherein an evaporator, provided in the space behind the roof, a fan for sending air in the space behind the roof to the evaporator and a duct for discharging air to the outside of the building are provided. CONSTITUTION:Heating operation by the heat pump is effected by driving a compressor 4, the fan 8 and a pump 11. Refrigerant in a heat pump cycle receives heat in the evaporator 6 from air in the space below the roof 18, which is sent by the fan 8, is compressed and heated by the compressor 3, thereafter, heats water in a hot-water reserving tank 1, which is circulated by the pump 11, through a hot-water heat exchanger 4. The heat source of the evaporator 6 is the air in the space below the roof, which is heated to a temperature higher than an atmospheric temperature, therefore, efficient heating operation may be effected and a remarkable energy saving effect may be obtained. The high- temperature air in the pace 18 below the roof is sent by the fan 8 to the evaporator 6 and is discharged thereafter to the outside of the building from a ventilating port 20 through the duct 19, therefore, the space 18 below the roof is cooled by ambient air. |
