PURPOSE:To make it possible to absorb air in the dies at the split surfaces of the dies, by arranging the metal core of a steering wheel to set one of diagonal lines connecting the corner sections in cross-section of the metal core, in substantial parallel to the ring surface. CONSTITUTION:An annular and hollow ring section metal core 6 is welded to the attaching section 4a of a spoke section 4, and is formed in a square cross-sectioned shape, composed of an outer rear surface part 6a and an inner rear surface part 6c, and an inner front surface part 6d and an inner rear surface part 6e which are opposed to the former two parts. Further, the ring section metal core 6 is arranged such that one of diagonal lines connecting between the corner sections in cross-section thereof, is in substantial parallel with the ring surface. The corner sections for the diagonal lines are arranged being opposed to the die split surfaces 20 of dies, and therefore, resin flows on the split surfaces 20 at a lowest speed during molding thereof. |
