PURPOSE:To attain to enhance visibility, by controlling the width or output value of the output pulse of a monostable circuit by the magnitude of electric power to be measured and keeping the brightness of an ON-and-OFF display device by changing the ratio of the lighting time and the time for putting out lights of the ON-and-OFF display device. CONSTITUTION:Electric power to be measured is converted by an electric power frequency converter 1 and the converted frequency is stepped down by a frequency dividing circuit 2 and brought to the frequency matching with a display unit by a counting display circuit 3 and electric power to be measured is measured and displayed by the display circuit 3. A monostable circuit 4 is triggered by the output pulse of the circuit 2 to output pulse output having a prescribed pulse width. The output pulse of the circuit 2 is also simultaneously outputted to a control circuit 5 and, when the speed of the output pulse from the circuit is 'slow' received in a small electric power range, the width of the output pulse of the monostable circuit 4 is made long. Whereas, when the speed of the output pulse from the circuit 2 is 'fast' received in a high electric power range, the width of the output pulse from the circuit 4 is made short. By this method, the brightness of an ON-and-OFF display device 6 is made constant to be turned ON and OFF. |
