PURPOSE:To readily obtain the titled composition highly resistant to wear, oil, freeze, etc., by blending powdery polyvinyl chloride, isocyanate compound, polyol, and, if needed additive, in the presence of a liquid plasticizer. CONSTITUTION:First, the following materials are prepared: (A) powdery polyvi nyl chloride with a polymerization degree >=600, (B) 2-120wt%, based on the component (A), of a liquid plasticizer such as diethyl phthalate or DOP, (C) an isocyanate compound such as 2,4- or 2,6-tolylene diisocyanate and (D) a polyol such as 1,4-butanediol in a NCO/OH ratio 0.5-10 for the components (C) and (D). A mixture of the components (B) and (C) is added to the component (A) while agitating the latter in a mixer to effect impregnation followed by incorporating another mixture of the components (B) and (D) to effect impregna tion and, if needed, blending an additive, thus obtaining the objective composi tion.
