A spark plug (11) in which the longitudinal bore (12) is located eccentrically in the housing (10). This results in a housing section (20) with a thicker wall, in which a pressure sensor (31) is located in a bore (24). The sensor is directly connected to the combustion chamber. Furthermore, no external structural changes need to be made to the housing (10), so that the spark plug (11) can be incorporated without difficulty in existing arangements. |
