PURPOSE:To obtain a register integrated circuit which has the utility and high speed and is easy to control, by relating a mask register to an integrated circuit to make it into an integrated circuit and making it possible to set the input of a read address register to a through state. CONSTITUTION:The read from a mask register 15 is performed by setting a mask register read designating signal 105 to '1' and setting this signal to a read designating circuit 14. At the read time of the register 15, the write operation of one or two words is performed for storage parts 10 and 11 simultaneously. The write to the register 15 is performed by setting a write designating signal 107 to '1' and supplying a write enable signal 102 and write data 103 from the external. At the write time of the register 15, the read operations of storage parts 10 and 11 can be performed simultaneously. A read address register through signal 108 is supplied from the external when a read address 100 passes through a read address register 13 and is inputted to storage parts 10 and 11 in relation to timing of a circuit or a device where this register file integrated circuit is used. |
