Spoked wheel for bicycles, motor cycles, children's prams, or other similar vehicles, comprising a rim with tyre, a wheel hub with flanges and a set of spokes. The spoked wheel according to the invention is characterised by novel spokes which no longer have spoke heads but instead have a double bend. The spoke according to the invention is twice the length of conventional spokes. Due to the number of spokes being halved thereby, the threading effort when spoking the wheel is reduced. The costs of the spokes are reduced because the production of the spoke head is omitted and replaced by a simple bending process. This method of production allows the problem-free use of high-tensile steel wires as semi-finished starting products.
