PURPOSE:To obtain a copy having high image quality and to obtain a roller of a heat fixing part for a color copying machine having a long copy life by providing a high release-property silicon rubber layer consisting essentially of specific silicon rubber, cobalt blue and reinforcing agent as a base layer on a roller base body. CONSTITUTION:The material which consists essentially of the silicon rubber expressed by the formula (X is -OH-, -CH=CH2 and n is 400-1,500) and the cobalt blue as well as the reinforcing filler such as silica and TiO2 at 1-30pts. wt. cobalt blue and 30pts.wt. reinforcing filler with respect to 100pts.wt. silicon rubber and is added with a curing catalyst is obtd. Such material is molded to 5mm thickness and the roller of the fixing part for the color copying machine is obtd. without subjecting the molding to grinding after curing. The roller which prevents the generation of offset, jam, etc. and has the long life is obtd. by using the silicon rubber having the high release property and the viscosity adequate for workability is thus obtd. |
