PURPOSE:To adjust easily a condensing position without moving a parabolic mirror of a large weight by adjusting the optical axis by using one of the divided visible laser light and adjusting the position of the parabolic mirror in the optical axis direction by using the other. CONSTITUTION:A test piece is inserted into the position intersecting with the optical axis 3 in proximity to a reflecting mirror 9 and the trace of burn is put thereto by the CO2 laser light 1. The He-Ne laser light 5 is then transmitted and the position of a 2-beam reflecting mirror 7 is so adjusted as to bring the same to the trace of the burn obtd. by the laser light 1. The 2nd laser light 31 for inspection of the light 5 is then so adjusted as to travel back and forth between a reflection face 26 for adjustment and a total reflection face 8 toward said face. The CO2 laser light 1 is condensed at a focus 27 when the laser light 1 is thereafter oscillated. Since the easy adjustment of the condensing position of the laser light is made possible in the above-mentioned manner, the processing efficiency and productivity are improved. |
