Compounds of formula: …<CHEM>… wherein R<1> is optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl, benzyl, heterocyclylmethyl, aryl or heterocyclyl; R<2> is hydrogen, optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl, benzyl or heterocyclylmethyl, X is O, S or NH; R<3> is optionally substituted alkyl or alkenyl when X is O or S, or is acyl when X is NH; and E is CN, CONH2, CSNH2 or CONR<4>R<5> wherein each of R<4> and R<5> is hydrogen or optionally substituted alkyl or alkenyl. The compounds are useful us herbicides and fungicides. |
