PURPOSE:To record and to reproduce suitably a composite video signal and a sound signal without interfering mutually with an address signal by constituting a device so that the composite video signal which is FM-modulated is not recorded overlapping on an address signal area and also setting the frequency band area of the address signal higher then that of a modulated sound signal. CONSTITUTION:A means 2 which FM-modulates the composite video signal, means 16-22 which control the rotation phase of a disk so that the vertical blanking period of the composite video signal is recorded on a prescribed position including the address signal, a means which modulates the sound signal to the signal having a lower frequency band area than that of the FM-modulated composite video signal and a means 3 which mixes the FM-modulated composite video signal and the modulated sound signal are provided. Furthermore, with providing a means 23 which prevents the composite video signal that is FM-modulated from being supplied for a prescribed time to the mixing means 3 so that the FM-modulated composite video signal is not recorded at the area where the address signal is performed, and providing means 11-13 which record the signal outputted from the mixing means 3 on an information recording truck, the address signal is set as the signal having a higher frequency band area than that of the modulated sound signal.
