PURPOSE:To obtain easily and quickly a metallic mold without machining by forming a backup mold so as to have a prescribed spacing from a ceramic mold, pouring a molten metal into the casting mold and casting the male metallic mold on the surface of the metallic mold body. CONSTITUTION:A model is set in a flask body and a ceramic slurry is poured therein to obtain a molding. The molding is subjected to primary and secondary calcination to obtain the ceramic mold. The pattern for the male metallic mold body is molded and plural recesses are formed on the outside surface of the product shape part thereof. Bolts 8... are erected and studded in the recesses. The above-mentioned pattern is set in the casting mold and molding sand or the like is packed therein, then the molten metal is poured therein to evaporate the pattern, by which the male metallic mold 9 is obtd. With the resulted ceramic mold 4 faced downward, the male mold body 9 is so set that the surface part 10 faces downward to face the shape part. A cavity 13 is formed between the surface of the shape part 4a and the surface part 10 of the body 9 and the body 9 and the casting mold 4 are held by the backup mold 14. The molten metal 15 is poured and packed into the cavity 13. The casting part constituting the male metallic mold part is thus formed on the surface of the body 9.
