PURPOSE:To use surely an instant memory area in using one picture memory as a storage memory area and the instant memory area by using a storage memory area of a picture memory as a variable area and using the remaining minimum area as the instant memory area. CONSTITUTION:The picture memory 10 is one memory but used for the storage memory area and the instant memory area. The storage memory area 7 stores a prescribed intermediate code (picture data) and is cleared after transmission or prescribed time (e.g., after 24hr). On the other hand, the instant memory area applies simultaneous operation of read/write to a prescribed intermediate code based on the FIFO operation. Further, the storage memory area is a variable area and the remaining area is used as the instant memory area. The minimum area is preserved for the instant memory area, then the minimum area cannot be used as the storage memory area.
