PURPOSE:To prevent the kerosene stove from being damaged and to secure the safety thereof when the temperature of a heat medium rises up extraordinarily, by providing a thermoelectric magnet valve actuating a fire-extinguishing lever. CONSTITUTION:By turning an ignition knob 11 while pushing the same, combustion is started in a combustion cylinder 2. Further, an iron piece 13 is pressed against an exciting coil 14 while compressing a spring 12 of a thermoelectric magnet-valve 10. A thermoelectric element 9 is heated by a combustion flame to generate a thermoelectromotive force, and the exciting coil 14 attracts the iron piece 13, thus the combustion being continued. When the thermostat 8 of a heat exchanger 3 reaches a preset temperature, the conduction of the thermoelectromotive force of the thermoelectric element 9 to the exciting coil 14 of the thermoelectric element 9 is stopped. Therefore, the iron piece 13 is released from excitation, a valve 15 actuates the fire-extinguishing lever 7 by a repulsive force of the spring 12 and the combustion is stopped.
