PURPOSE:To attain accurate signal reception by detecting and receiving a signal sent from a sending station as a power signal without a current standing wave phenomenon and a voltage standing wave phenomenon. CONSTITUTION:A sinusoidal wave signal sent from a sending station 6 exists on a distribution line 3 as a standing wave when the signal frequency is high or the length of the distribution line 3 is long. In observing the voltage and current standing waves produced on the distribution line between the sending station 6 and a reception station 4 while neglecting the loss of the distribution line 3, although both the waves are sinusoidal waves but the maximum values are shifted by 1/4 wavelength. That is, the current standing wave ISW is shifted from the voltage standing wave ESW by 1/4 wavelength, and then the standing wave power is obtained as a sum PSW of the power by the standing wave voltage and the power by the standing wave current and is distributed over the entire length of the distribution line 3 at a prescribed level. That is, the power signal is detected at any position of the distribution line 3 independently of the current and voltage. Thus, the reception station 4 can detect and receive surely the signal sent from the sending station 6 independently of the installed position of the reception station 4.
