PURPOSE:To stop urgently and safely a device to be taught of an industrial robot, etc. by attaching a weight through an elastic body to a frame for receiving a vibration, and giving a vibration exceeding a standard, to a vibration detector. CONSTITUTION:A vibration detector 5 being a teaching device is constituted by attaching a weight 4 being a conductive body to a frame 2 being a conductive body through a pressure conductive rubber 3 used as an elastic body and a switch, and also the frame 2 and the weight 4 are connected to a device to be taught of an industrial robot, et. through pickup coils 6-1, 6-2, respectively. In such a state, when a vibration exceeding a standard is given to the vibration detector 5, the pressure conductive rubber 3 becomes a conducting state, and accordingly, the pickup coils 6-1, 6-2 also become a conducting state, therefore, the device to be taught can be stopped forcibly.
