PURPOSE:To guide a cassette and prevent a ribbon from being caught when a wheel cassette is mounted by forming a guiding surface of the wheel cassette through narrowing the tip width between the protrusions over which the ribbon of the ribbon cassette is stretched. CONSTITUTION:Between the two widths A and B, inclined guide surfaces 23 and 24 are formed to guide a wheel cassette 21 to a suitable place in the rear of a cutout concave 22 at the time of mounting of the cassette. The wheel cassette 21 stores a type wheel 25, and is guided by the guide surfaces 23 and 24, and through stretcher protrusions 18 and 19 for the ribbon 20 of the ribbon cassette 17 it is mounted on the carrier 14. Since the tip width between the stretcher protrusions for the ribbon of the ribbon cassette is narrowed to form the guiding surfaces of the wheel cassette, the ribbon cassette is guided by the guiding surfaces to a suitable position, resulting in the minimum occurrence of the ribbon being caught. |
