PURPOSE:To send a normal driving signal to an actuator even in case of troubles of a CPU by sending a stop signal to a square wave oscillator provided in a control unit when the CPU is normal but not sending the stop signal there when the CPU is abnormal. CONSTITUTION:When a CPU 2 is operated normally, the stop signal inputted from an output terminal P1 to the inverted input terminal of an operational amplifier 10 of a square wave oscillator 3 through a stop signal line 6 is not oscillated at all at a point B of a reset signal line 7, and a certain voltage acts upon a reset signal terminal R. The driving signal based on information sent from a sensor or the like is sent from an output terminal P2 to a driving circuit 4 through a driving signal line 9 to drive an actuator 5. When the CPU 2 is abnormal, the stop signal has a certain voltage not to form a waveform, and the oscillator 3 generates an oscillation signal having a certain waveform at the point B, and this signal is sent to the circuit 4 through an oscillation signal line 8, and the actuator 5 is driven by the driving signal having a waveform based on this oscillation signal. Thus, the operation is continued with a simple circuit constitution.
