PURPOSE:To eliminate effect of external noise regardless of a larger length of a cable for connecting a probe section and a body section, by incorporating a thermistor, a capacitor and inverters forming a temperature oscillation circuit into the probe section. CONSTITUTION:In an electronic thermometer, of a separate type separation of the probe section A, the cable section B and the body C which detects the temperature from the cycle ratio between the output Pthm of a temperature oscillation circuit and a reference signal Pstd of a reference oscillation circuit, a thermistor 2r, a capacitor 2c and inverters 21-24 forming the temperature oscillation circuit are all incorporated into the probe section A. Here, it would be better that a resistance 1r, a capacitor 1c, inverters 11-14 and the like forming the reference oscillation circuit are also formed on the same IC chip with the temperature oscillation circuit. This can eliminate effect of external noise while stabilizing the characteristic. |
