PURPOSE:To obtain an optical disk with low cost and improvement of mass productivity by producing the information recording signals from the inner circumferential part of the disk in response to the desired record/reproduction time and forming a no-signal mirror surface toward the outer circumferential part of the disk from the information recording signal area where no signal exists. CONSTITUTION:The information recording signals are produced in an information recording signal area 7 in response to the desired record/reproduction time. At a mirror surface part 10 only a reflecting film is formed with no signal produced at the outer circumferential part. For production of an optical disk, a recording job is started at the inner circumferential part of a glass master disk in a recording process using the laser light out of the production processes of a master disk. The irradiation of the laser light is discontinued when a desired recording period of time elapses. Thus no-signal area is obtained. A master disk thus produced is attached to a molding metallic mold and a resin substrate is obtained by an injection molding process, etc. Then an aluminum reflecting film is formed on the resin substrate. Thus only the reflecting film is viewed externally at the part 10. |
