PURPOSE:To make the production of a caisson easier by a method in which a caisson built up in a caisson-producing yard is put on a lift barge moored to a quaywall, the barge is towed to a given sea area, and the caisson is dropped into sea and settled. CONSTITUTION:After a caisson A is built up in a production yard on the land, the caisson A is put on a lift barge B moored to a quaywall by using a side dragging truck 4 set on a side rail 2 and a launching truck set on a vertical rail 3. The lift barge A is towed to a given sea area,a the lift barge B is dripped into sea, and the caisson A alone is floated on the sea surface. The caisson A is settled into the sea d installed on a mound. |
