PURPOSE:To form a color photographic material superior in color reproductivity and remarkably enhanced in light fastness of a magenta dye image by using a specified compd. in combination with a specified 1H-pyrazolo[5,1-c]-1,2,4- triazole type magenta coupler. CONSTITUTION:A combination of 1H-pyrazolo[5,1-c]-1,2,4-triazole type magenta coupler substd. at the 3-position by the group of formula I and a compd. represented by formula V, and the magenta coupler is, preferably, ones represented by formula II, where the most preferable R is ones represented by formula III. The magenta coupler to be used is embodied by formula IV. |
