PURPOSE:To attain easily many types of selection with use of a minimum input port by using a selection means which supplies the signals from a digital sensor means and a delay means through an electronic control part and executes plural types of selection including the selection of control contents according to the difference between both signals supplied from said two means. CONSTITUTION:A delay means C1 supplies the output of a digital sensor means CD and delivers it to an electronic control part CC after delaying independently the rise and fall points of the digital output. The part CC supplies the outputs of both means CD and C1, and a selection means C2 executes plural types of selection in response to the difference of these two input signals. Here the difference between these two signals means the delay characteristics applied to both rise and fall points from the means C1. Therefore the information needed for selection is obtained from said delay characteristics and two media. In addition, the width of the delay time can be changed by the design of the means C1. Thus it is possible to set approximately an infinite number of combinations for the information needed for selection.
