PURPOSE:To improve anticorrosive and antiwear property of an alloy member by disposing said alloy member in a position where a piston slidably reciprocates with an internal chill method. CONSTITUTION:An annular ring member 3 made of Ni system alloy having anticorrosive and antiwear properties higher than those of alloy material forming a cylinder block 1 and produced by casting and sintering process is cast in the slide surface 8 of a piston 7 in an engine cylinder 2 by internal chill method. Thus, even in the engine using fuel producing severe corrosive combustion products, the ring member 3 excellent in anticorrosion and antiwear properties is provided, engine oil consumption and blow-by property can be provided and the productivity can be substantially improved. |
