PURPOSE:To improve the adjusting accuracy and opertioability of a captioned device placing a mechanism for adjusting the cross directional displacement of the key way of a tool to be fitted to a main spindle on the front face of the top of a spindle head. CONSTITUTION:The spaces C between the regulation shaft 12 of a key way machining device and a couple of regulation stoppers 9 are adjusted according to the wearing degree of a tool 31. A cylinder 41 for a neutral stopper is actuated to bring a stopper 6 into contact with a lever 4 through a switching mechanism 8 so as to position the lever 4 neutrally setting up a swing plate 11 in a neutral condition. This constitution serves each space C to be same value in relation to a couple of the regulation stoppers 9. The spaces C are determined accurately to a desired value by turning the knobs 49 of a couple of a adjusting mechanism 10 equally until the adjustment knob 50b of a scale plate 50 propery meets to zero scale 54. |
