<p>PURPOSE:To accomplish an exact locking of the intermittent gear in the next position of locking with only one piece of locking member and to simplify the constitution by providing a main engaging part and a sub-engaging part to the intermittent gear. CONSTITUTION:When a lock-release lever 9 is pushed in, a pressing part 10 lets a locking link 7 rotate as resisting against the force exerted by a spring 8, and a locking member 5 departs from a main engaging part 3a so that the intermittent gear 2 engages with a driving gear and rotates in order to drive the change plate and others of the tape player. When the gear 2, being in rotation, approaches the second main engaging part 3b, the second sub-engaging part 4b engages with the locking member 5 and locks the rotation of the gear 2 hence the said rotation is prohibited. When the lever 9 is released from being pushed in, the locking link 7 is made rotate in the direction toward a spindle 1 disengaging from the sub-engaging part 4b by the force exerted by the spring 8, and the locking member 5 instantaneously engages with the main engaging part 3b, so that the locking state is maintained.</p> |
