PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous detection and to eliminate the necessity using an exclusive magazine, by forming grooves so as to make the inside of each groove reflective to light and setting the detection region of an optical sensor except the connection part of the magazine. CONSTITUTION:A magazine 1 is different from a conventional one in such a point that no black painting is applied. Therefore, the magazine 1 is a general one having a surface showing the gloss of aluminum or a non-glossy white color and the grooves 1a and welded parts 1b thereof are different from conventional ones only in such a point that no black painting is applied. Photosensors 113 are arranged on the magazine 1 so as to be separated by about 40mm from ICs 102, 102... of a detection scheduled part and the detection region thereof is set to the range shown by the broken line circle of a drawing and the gaps between ICs in this region are narrow to contact ICs and the welded part of an aluminum plate is not contained in the detection region. As mentioned above, because the photosensors are arranged so as to be isolated from the magazine, erroneous detection is prevented and, as the magazine, an exclusive magazine having non-reflective painting applied thereto becomes unnecessary.
