PURPOSE:To attain accurate consecutive reproducing from a disc by automizing all the operations coherent from the loading of the disc to the unloading. CONSTITUTION:When the button is manually operated and a cartridge D included in a disc-including rack B is selected, a control signal is issued from a control device I and a unit base 48 is made move by an up-down moving mechanism G. As the motor 60 of a driving mechanism for selection H is driven, a carrier base 54 moves in the right-and-left direction, and a substrate 93 is made move by a motor 94 in order that the clamper 96 of a cartridge inserting-extracting mechanism J clamps a desired cartridge D. The carrier base 54 is transferred by the mechanisms G and H to the place of a reproducing device C, and the carrier base 54 is made rotate approximately 90 deg. by a motor 53 to let the cartridge D be in horizontal posture. Then the clamper 96 opens, and the cartridge is pushed out and is loaded in the reproducing device C.
