Over an angular portion of the surface, the internal face of the interlocking sleeve 2 has a flared shape so as to make a housing for a wedge 4 with a corresponding shape. The vertical manipulation of this wedge 4 with the aid of a member 5 axially wedges the element 3 engaged in the sleeve 4. The invention can be applied advantageously to dismantlable garden furniture, for example for fastening table legs. <IMAGE>
