METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PRE-MIXTURE FOR ANIMAL FOOD

Granular premix for animal feed was prepd. by absorbing fermentation products with an absorbent clay. Thus, 18.3 l of fermentation broth contg. naracin 17, solids 78, and lipids 10.2 mg/ml was concentrated together with amylalcohol by azeottropic distilation to yield 1530g concd. broth contg. 5-8 % moisture. The concd. broth was mixed with Ca- and Mg-montmorillonite and dried with hot-air to yield 2133g of granular premix contg. 100 mg/g of naracin.
