The invention relates to a device for releasably securing a protrusion (3) in a positively locking manner, said protrusion passing through a plug-in opening (2) in a wall (1). In that end of the protrusion (3) which passes through the wall (1) there is provided a cutout (5) into which there can be inserted a locking element (6) which rests flat against the wall (1), outside the cutout (5), and fixes the protrusion (3) on the wall (1) in a positively locking manner, the locking element (6) being secured against falling out of the cutout unintentionally. In order to improve the securing of the locking element in a device of this type, the invention proposes that the locking element (6) consist of a plastically deformable material, and that it be possible, by pressing flat its middle region which is bent up with respect to the wall (1) before installation, while supporting on an abutment (7) opposite the cutout (5), to push the locking element into the cutout (5) of the protrusion (3), in which cutout it is secured to all sides in a positively locking manner.
