Customizable, variable head support, especially support with integrated audio technology. For the effective prevention and successful treatment of symptoms in the region of the cervical spine or the upper thoracic spine and the appendent ligaments and muscles there is formed a head support comprising several individual layers having different dimensions and different material consistency, individual adjustment, especially in the course of medical treatment, being guaranteed even stepwise without any large technical outlay by changing the number of layers, exchanging individual layers for others or the layers between each other and there being high dimensional stability. As an important supplement to the preventive and therapeutic measures, an audiotechnical unit is integrated in the inner region of the head support and permits application of therapy-supporting audio programmes.
