PURPOSE:To obtain a color photographic sensitive material superior in sharpness, graininess, and color reproductivity, and high in sensitivity by incorporating at least one of couplers having a photographic useful group to be released by the coupling reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide color photographic sensitive material high in sensitivity and improved in sharpness, graininess, and color reproductivity can be obtained by incorporating in the hydrophilic colloidal layer of the photosensitive material at least one of compds. represented by formula I or II in which A is a coupler residue to be released by the coupling reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent; R1, R2 are each alkyl, phenyl, or the like; n is 1, 2, or 3; PUG is a photographic useful group, such as a development inhibitor or development promotor, and when n is >1, each of R2 may be same or different and an adjacent pair of them may form a ring. |
