PURPOSE:To reduce the number of hammering in a hammering process following to a car body assembling process for improved productivity by executing pressure welding with respect to a side panel on a welding jig by a plurality of welding guns carried by a hammering jig which is positioned with respect to the welding jig. CONSTITUTION:There is provided at a predetermined stop position of a welding jig 4, such as the set position B, other than the welding position thereof a hammer welding device 25 having a hammer welding jig 24 which can be positioned with respect to the welding jig 4, and a side panel W3 on the welding jig 4 is hammer-welded at a predetermined portion, such as an upper joint portion b of a rail frame W3b of a roof side rail portion, by a plurality of welding guns 26 carried by the hammer welding jig 24. |
