PURPOSE:To miniaturize an antiskid device, by using two hydraulic pressure control valves for the antiskid device. CONSTITUTION:An X-type pipe line connection is made between wheel cylinders for a pair of front wheels and a pair of rear wheels, and a pair of second hydraulic pressure control valves 4a, 4b are disposed between the hydraulic pressure generating chamber of a master cylinder and the front wheel cylinders. Further, a control unit 31 evaluates the skind conditions of the pair of front wheels and the pair of rear wheels. At this time when the locking conditions of the both rear wheels are indicated, the result of evaluation for the locking condition of the rear wheel which is locked later, is combined logically with that of one of the front wheels to establish an instruction for releasing the brake.
