Shaped seal for hydrostatic gear machines

The invention relates to a shaped seal for delimitation of partial pressure fields between interacting surfaces of hydrostatic gear machines with axial play compensation, the shaped seal being designed as an inner ring and an outer ring connected by means of webs and the rings being arranged in recesses corresponding to the shaped seal in one of the interacting surfaces. The aim and object of the invention consist in producing a shaped seal for a gear machine with axial play compensation, which consists of a few sealing elements, is easy to manufacture and to mount, and resists local displacement in the case of being acted upon by pressure in alternate directions. According to the invention, the aim is achieved by arrangement of in each case one or more stub webs next to the webs connecting the inner ring and the outer ring of the shaped seal, the stub webs being arranged on the inner ring and/or on the outer ring. The invention is used in hydrostatic gear machines.
