PURPOSE:To obtain an extremely economical picture system of sophisticated function by transmitting a data to control a picture-subcenter to a subcenter from the center by means of a telesoft function utilizing a protocol specified for video TEX communication network. CONSTITUTION:A retreival data form a picture terminal equipment 7 is converted to an up telegram format of video TEX by the picture subcenter 6, and reaches information centers 2 and 3 via a video TEX net 4. The centers 2 and 3, based on the retrieval data, retrieves the targeted picture information data, and transmits it to the subcenter 6. The subcenter 6 analizes the content of the data, and controls the picture devices in the subcenters in accordance with the data in order to convert the data to continuous TV-picture signals. And the TV-picture signals are transmitted to the terminal equipment 7 that requested, through a picture transmission line 8.
