<p>A superconducting wire comprises a core region of a superconducting material, an outermost region of a normal-conducting material for stabilizing the superconducting material, and at least one intermediate region disposed between the core region and the outermost region. The intermediate region includes layers of the paramagnetic salt for increasing the heat capacity of the wire and layers of a normal-conducting material which are arranged alternatingly in the longitudinal or circumferential direction of the wire.</p> |
