PURPOSE:To remove a thermal deformation of a carriage frame by a magnetic circuit by a simple construction and improve an oscillation characteristic by fastening the magnetic circuit to the carriage frame by using a bracket for preventing a deformation of the carriage frame due to a thermal stress and a resilient body for attenuating an impact oscillation due to an abrupt acceleration and retardation. CONSTITUTION:A head arm 1, a driving bobbin 2 and a carriage 4 are fastened to a pivot shaft 3 and incorporated in a carriage frame 6 through a bearing 7. A magnetic circuit 5 is fixed to an attaching base 6' extended from the frame 6 by a bracket 9. On an upper section of the magnetic circuit 5, a bracket 11 is attached by a bracket attaching screw 10 and the frame is connected by a viscoelastic body 8 bonded to this surface. Since the magnetic circuit 5 different in a coefficient of thermal expansion is supported by the bracket weak in resiliency in this way, the thermal deformation together with the rise of temperature is removed by the deformation of the bracket 9. Since the circuit 5 having a large weight is supported by the bracket 9 weak in resiliency and connected to the frame 6 by the viscoelastic body 8, an oscillation characteristic is improved.
