And, the insulating coat 3 with stripe shaped groove structure facing the display electrode 2 is formed by making the processes of drying and firing after printing the pastelike material which is made by kneading glasspowder with organic binder using a stainless steel screen at the position facing the stripe shaped display electrode 2. Next, burying phosphor in the groove shaped insulating coat 3 by squeezing impression after applying phosphor on the display electrode 2, and raking phosphor on the insulating coat by squeezing, a stripelike display pattern 4 is provided. And further, providing the linear grids 5 at the suitable position meeting at right angles with the fluoroscent pattern 4 consisting of phosphor substantially, additionally providing the plural filaments 6 over them, and the cover glass 7 hermetically stuck to a anode substrate.
