PURPOSE:To perform all operations on the front of a copying machine by loading a copying paper feed cassette and a feed table at the operator-side front part of copying paper and arranging a discharge tray for recorded copying paper on the front of a copying machine, and providing a manual insertion paper feed slit to part of the top surface part. CONSTITUTION:A console panel 2 is arranged at the top surface part of a main body 1 closely to an operator, the copying paper feed cassette 3 and discharge tray 4 are provided under the front part, and an original platen 5, an original cover 6, and the manual insertion slit 10 for thick copying paper 9 which is provided at the inner side and used for both-surface copying are provided at the top surface part of the copying machine body 1. Copying paper 7 which is normally used is conveyed from the paper feed cassette 3 through conveyer rollers 11-13 and conveyance chutes 14 and 16 and special copying paper 9 which is thick, on the other hand, is inserted into the manual insertion slit 10 adjoining to the top surface part original platen 5 of the copying machine and conveyed through conveyer rollers 17, 18, and 13 and conveying chutes 15 and 16. Then, the paper reaches a photosensitive drum 19 as well as the normal copying paper 7, an image on the photosensitive body is transferred there, and the paper is recovered on the discharge tray 4 after passing through a fixing device 21. |
