PURPOSE:To prevent an increase of a black precipitate and a yellow stain by incorporating a specific organic ferric complex salt having <280mol.wt. of a free acid, a thiosulfate and a sulfite as a main component to a bleaching fixing solution. CONSTITUTION:The bleaching fixing solution is composed of the organic ferric complex salt having <280mol.wt. of the free acid, the thiosulfate and the sulfite as the main component, the free acid having <280mol.wt. in the organic ferric complex is preferable to be a compd. shown by the formula. The thiosulfate is composed of an alkaline metal salt and an ammonium salt, such as potassium thiosulfate, sodium thiosulfate and ammonium thiosulfate. The concentration of the thiosulfate is a range of 40-250g/l. The sulfite salt is not specified, but is necessary to be compd. capable of releasing a sulfite ion, and is preferable to be contained 1X10<-3>-0.1mol/l in the bleaching fixing solution. By constituting the bleaching fixing solution as mentioned above, the formation of a fine black precipitate which generates in the stabilizing solution used instead of a washing water, when staying it in the solution for a long period, is prevented, and the generation of the yellow stain in the photographic picture is prevented, when the picture is treated under the condition of reducing a supplementary amount of the stabilizing solution, and is stored for a long periods. |
