PURPOSE:To enable the condition of positioning to be affirmed in a simple manner by allowing the weight of a plumb to press a positioning pin onto a lead frame so as to affirm the condition of positioning. CONSTITUTION:A positioner 21 includes a shaft 21a which is fitted to a lead frame 9 so as to move up and down as required, a plumb 21b which projects out of the shaft 21a, and a positioning pin 21c which is fitted into a positioning hole 12a on a lead frame 12. When the positioning pin 21c is inserted into the lead frame 12, the plumb 21b is not displaced. But the positioning pin 21c comes out of the positioning hole 12a of the lead frame 12, both the positioning pin 21c and the plumb 21b are elevated indicating that the lead frame is out of the normal position. Accordingly, this causes only the weight of the plumb to press the positioning pin 21c onto the lead frame allowing a simple pressing means for the positioning pin 21c to be employed.
