PURPOSE:To prevent deformation of a slide shaft and/or a frame, and to enable driving of a printing mechanism at a constant speed at all times and to maintain a good printing quality by fixing one end of a slide shaft to a frame, and at the same time, by fixing the other end of the shaft to the frame through a bearing with which fixing at any position desirable in the axial direction of the slide shaft is possible. CONSTITUTION:A slide shaft 4 is inserted from the direction of an arrow A into the calibrated frames 1 and 2, and one end is temporarily fixed to the frame 1 with a fixing screw 7. A printing mechanism should be incorporated at the same time. Then, a bearing member 9 which has a cutout at a groove 10a formed at a portion of the bearing hole 10 for the slide shaft is mounted at the other end of the slide shaft 4 and the bearing member 9 is temporarily fixed to the frame 2 with a fixing screw 12. Following the above, the groove 10a of the member 9 is fastened with a set bolt 11a and a nut 11b in the direction of an arrow B, and the slide shaft 4 is fixed to the member 9. Then, after confirming that the already incorporated printing mechanism should smoothly move in a lateral direction, the slide shaft 4 and the member 9 are fixed to the frames 1 and 2 with the fixing screws 7 and 12. |
