PURPOSE:To permit the correct ignition control by installing a means for detecting that the interruption of the pulse signals of a crank standard angle position detector is of the starting up or starting down and a means for detecting the number of revolution in each interruption. CONSTITUTION:The value of a latch circuit is taken in Step 101, and the speed data REV is taken in Step 102. In Steps 105 and 110, it is judged that iNTL interruption is the interruption on starting up the crank standard position signal or the interruption on starting down. In Steps 108 and 113, the calculation data is outputted into a latch circuit (2). Thus, the correct ignition control can be carried out, and the number of sensors synchronized with the engine revolution can be reduced to one.
