The linear slide bearing has an integral main body with a channel cross-section corstituted by left and right skirt portions and a central cavity formed between the skirt portions. The main body has a pair of race receiving grooves formed on the opposing surfaces of the skirt portions confronting the central cavity and non-loaded ball grooves disposed near both ends of respective race-receiving grooves and communicating with the grooves. The bearing has a pair of bearing races constituted by arcuate members having a semi-circular cross- section. Each of the bearing races is provided on its inner surface with a pair of loaded ball grooves.
