PURPOSE:To give necessary information to a person riding in a running vehicle at the inside of the vehicle at any time by providing a transmitter which transmits various information related to a road at the vicinity of the road and a receiver which receives, stores and displays the above-mentioned information in the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:Information of interchanges, service areas, emergency telephone, bus stop, traffic control, other guidance for vicinity areas of interchanges, etc., are transmitted from the transmitter 1 of a ground station provided in the vicinity of an interchange to vehicles running along a highway 20 in the form of small-output radio signals. A moving station receiver 2 provided in a running vehicle 3 receives these radio signals while passing through the vicinity of the interchange and stores the radio signals in a storage section. At the same time, the receiver 2 informs the person riding in the vehicle of the above- mentioned various information through a display output section or voice output section and lets the person confirm the information.
